Wrinkled shirt, no iron in sight? These six fixes smooth clothes fast with things you already have.
1. The Shower Steam Method
Hang the wrinkled garment in the bathroom, close the door and windows, and run the shower on full hot for 10–15 minutes. The steam relaxes the fibers. Shake the garment out afterward and let it air dry — wrinkles fall out as it dries. Don’t let the clothes get wet directly.
2. Hair Straightener for Collars and Hems
A flat iron works perfectly on collars, cuffs, and small areas. Make sure the plates are clean (wipe with a damp cloth first — styling product residue can stain). Use medium heat and go slowly. Not for large areas, but ideal for touch-ups.
